Need advice on set up

I'm working on setting up a 5.1.2 system in my basement. This is what I'm thinking so far but I have a couple questions...

all my speakers are in wall/ceiling. RC85I for front and rear speakers, RC80I for Dolby ceiling speakers and VS255CRT for center.

I am wondering first of all what height I should mount my rear speakers on the wall. I have heard about 2' above head level when sitting? The ceiling height is about 7' 4". Is having them near the ceiling fine or should they be closer to hear height?

Also, are my rear speakers far enough apart? Im not sure if they should match my fronts or not. I think they work well for main seating position which would be on the couch center with the tv, but if someone was sitting on the far end of the couch they would be outside the speakers. Just wondering if that is just something I will have to deal with when dealing with a longer couch. Based on studs I could move them outwards another 16" or so so the were more like this.... (My couch is right up against the wall btw)

Those are my main concerns but any other feedback would be helpful, I'm very new at this. My tv and front speakers are already in and can't move so the only ones that could be adjusted are the ceilings and the rears.

I would rotate everything 90 degrees and get the couch off the wall. Oh and get rid of the "His and Hers" Desks, that's just silly.

For your speaker placement and to maximize your cinema experience, you should try your best to meet Dolby Atmos speaker placement guide.

    https://www.dolby.com/us/en/guide/speaker-setup-guides/5.1.2-overhead-speaker-setup-guide.html

Based on your picture and without the angles indicated, your speakers look too close together. Aim for the 30' angle for the front L/R based on your listening position. And the 110' angle for the surrounds. As for the atmos, keep them above your listening position and in line with your front speakers (unless its too wide and no longer above listening area in which case you'll need to go with 70% of the width of your front speakers aimed at listener).

All speakers aimed at listening area. Bed layer should ideally have tweeters at ear level when sitting but sometimes for the surrounds, this causes the speakers to be blocked by the heads of others. For the surrounds i'd probably lift it 8 inches or so just so it clears the heads of others).
