Three. Sheeeyit, I should probably get one for Jesse, as well. That's four. Maybe I can get my brother to sell an insulation job in Quebec and then we can smuggle them back in one of his trucks behind a stack of spare bags of cellulose. B)

75” XBR 900E 2 years old and flawless
I have had Sony equipment over the years and have been fortunate not to have any die or go sour.
I had to replace the rubber bands on the 300 disc juke box last year, but that unit was close to 20 years old. Their Trinitrons were the best CRT’s out there.

I was a big fan of Mitsubishi big tube tv's. I had a 40" back in the 90's which used to wow people... I remember moving it from downstairs to upstairs and it was too big to get your arms around so I rolled it up the (carpeted) stairs on it's edge... Then I moved it to my old office (rolled it down the stairs) lunchroom in NJ... I know it still worked as of 2014 but then I moved to FL. A legendary tank of a tv.

When I got my first brand name flat-screen Samsung was all the rage and Sony was carp. Then I think LG was the chit and Sony was still carp. Now Sony is the chit and everything else is carp, I am gonna get a Toshiba, they were never any good. I live my life to avoid pain and disappointment, that's why I stay right here at the bottom.

Is there any advantage to buying from Costco? I was just in there looking for a 55-gallon drum of Pub Mix and I didn't see any great prices.

Also for value, consider the Hisense Quantum series. Just bought one of those for a client.

That is actually an accurate statement.
Insignia is Best Buy’s house brand, not bad.
Just got this on sale for $299 at a Best Buy in Indianapolis. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-55-class-nu6900-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-tizen-tv/6268404.p?skuId=6268404&ref=212&loc=1&ref=212&loc=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvLnYjtLd6wIVjIbACh0gmgFbEAQYAiABEgLUavD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
Oh yeah, plus tax. Had to ask for the special price, it’s not advertised.

I ended up getting a LG 55" Class - UN7300 Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV from Costco like a month ago. I turned it on to make sure it worked and tested my only 4k disc. Nice TV I guess.

Got a onn. 50" 4k at wallymart for $128.00. One day online sale only.

Got a Sony STRDH590 at BB for $199.00.

    Basically cheap disposable gear IMO..

Put it all in the gaming room in my Daughter's basement.

She's happy which is all that matters <3, loves the bluetooth thing for her music.

TV remote is the cheapest thing I've ever seen, was a bit confusing but everything is up and running.

I’m late on this one, and you already got the tv so you may be aware, but... You asked if there was an advantage to buying at Costco. Typically on big ticket electronics they extend the manufacturers warranty (which is usually 1 year) by an extra year. So you get 2nd year of warranty for free. Then, if you put it on the Costco credit card, the credit card gives you another 2 years of warranty. So 4 total years. 3 extra years for buying it there if you use their credit card. I am definitely buying my next tv there.

@CottageChz thanks for the heads up. I saw that I got an extra year but I didn't know or see anything about the extended warranty with the card. I will have to look into it to see if it was applied.

Anything with the letters LG is complete trash in our experience. Our dishwasher just had the door springs go and forgot about it yesterday morning. Opened the heavy **** door and it smashed my foot/ankle.

Price is about the same as the other brands upper models.
I like the center foot. The newer models that put feet all the way out to the edges can be a bear to find a table wide enough if you do not have wall space to hang.

Okay so I’m not the only one who has an issue with those widely space feet on some flat screen TV’s!!👍🏽
