Upgrade Time! - RTiA7 or RTiA9's...?

Hey All - trying to narrow down things. I’ll prob be getting the CSiA6 Center, & either the A7’s or A9’s. - In doing something prelim research, I’ve seen if one uses their HT “Mainly” for movies, which I do (90-95%), then the A7’s are better suited for that application. Whereas the A9’s might be better if one plays a fair amount (50/50 at least) of music as well.

Room isn’t big, approx 11x13. I do have an amp running the L/C/R (Emotiva CPA-3/Gen 2), & use my Onkyo TX NR-838 to run the Side/Rears (FXiA6’s & 3’s), & my 2 Dolby Atmos Klipsch R-41SA’s). I have 2 PA-120 Subs now. Plan is to upgrade the AVR to the Denon X3600H & maybe get an VTF-3 MK5 HP Sub or the VTF-2 MK5.

Any thoughts, suggestions, questions? Let me know & TY All in advance.
Steve

Complete and utter hogwash. The Reference Theater improved A series speakers, as the name boldly suggests, are home theater speakers first and foremost regardless of the particular model.

With the subs you’re considering I’d go with the 7’s, but you can’t go wrong with either. Nice looking HT you’re putting together. Movie night will be a blast!

Well that’s good obviously. I was just relating what I saw from a Few posts, not a representation of 100 or more. Thx tho.

Ty. That’s what I’m leaning towards. Even with my current subs, the 7’s will prob be plenty, not to mention the heft of the 9’s. lol

Agreed. I overlooked your current subs in your original post. Maybe give SVS a look as well if you haven’t already done so. Love mine.
