    I just cut my hair with electric clippers with the different length plastic guards. Years and years of haircuts for $30-50. I have better things to spend money on.

    Mrs. H cuts mine with the same manner of gizmo mentioned by @Nightfall above.

    Amusingly, when we lived in B-more, a good friend had a dog grooming clipper set she used on their Brittany Spaniel. It was exactly the same clipper with exactly the same set of color-coded attachments. Always thought that was interesting.
