Polk MC80s as surrounds for 5.1 - Upgrade or Keep?
I really can't find much about the MC80s aside from the occasional consumer reviews of people that are pretty happy with them. I bought these back in 2013 and had them installed in my ceilings for 5.1 surround. I was forced to use in-ceilings for surround channels, because my couch is up against the wall and I have windows behind me. There isn't a lot of wiggle room.
I'm upgrading to some SVS Primes, Center, and a SB-2000 Pro subwoofer - and was originally going to switch out the MC80s, but I'm kind of torn about whether or not I should worry with it.
For those that are familiar with the MC80s, do you think they're worth keeping or is there something else that is the same size (8 inches) that would result in some drastic improvement?
When I research, ceiling speakers all seem to kind of fall within the same price range with a few exceptions.
