Twin mm12's this amp too much power?

I am going to be replacing the lame amp that i have powering my twin MM12's now that they are properly broken in, I hear stories about how even a bit too much power will kill these subs fast but im sick of underpowering them. I love MTX amps and was looking for opinions on this amp for my MM12's Thunder 1501D

that should do fine, as long as theyre wired in parallel..but some of the other, more expierenced guys might give you a better opinion
