I have 2 Polk Gnx124 12's hooked up to a jbl 600 watt mono block wired in parallel.

I hear that wiring them in series gives the best output of power into the subs as opposed to the parallel wiring... I was wondering if this was true or if anyone could give me some input or what they would recommend. Thanks..

um... nope... parallel lowers impedance presented to the amp. two 4-ohm subs = (1/4 + 1/4)^(-1) = 2; the amp sees 2 ohms.
