Are there Zappa fans here that have acquired any of the shows that have been released in the past few years, if so would you recommend them?

    Gail keeps releasing a lot of stuff from the Zappa Vaults it's hard for a Zappa Fan to keep up without spending a small fortune. That's where Tidal comes in listened to the 73 Halloween show a while back I enjoyed it and will listen to it again one day.

    How about the quality of the recording?

    Oh, and didn't Gail die?

    I like having the CD's although my collection has become unmanageable. I still get some here and there. I may try Tidal again after I move but I am not sure if my latest DAC does MQA if not I won't be trying Tidal again.

    That's right Gail passed away before that she was releasing stuff like crazy, I believe the family had a lot of disagreements before her death. I guess its Dwezil, Ahmet, and Moon and Diva in charge now. The recording didnt sound bad for a show from 1973. I also think Gail had issues with Dwezzil touring band Zappa plays Zappa.
