Is the DSB soundbar compatible with the FR1 subwoofer if I insert the dongle?

I had an old FR1 system that I bought from dish network some years ago the sound bar stopped working but the subwoofer was still good. I ordered a DSB soundbar and inserted fr1 dongle to try to connect to my old sub wolfer and the lights are solid green but there's no sound from the Subwoofer. please help.
