Suggested AV Receiver/ Power Amp for my Polk setup ( Rti A7, A1, TSK150C, PSW110)

Dear people,

My post probably falls into a Newbee category and some might not feel interested to reply, in which case please ignore.

I have a Hi-Fi setup for the past 5 years with the following hardware:

AV Receiver: Marantz SR6006
Front: RTi A7's
Centre: TSK150C
Surround: Rti A1's
Sub: PSW110

Cable: Van Damme 268-525-060 Blue Series Studio Grade UPOFC Classic Pro Loudspeaker Cable 2 X 2.5mm TWIN -AXIAL

Subwoofer cable: RCA readymade cable from Cambridge audio (3M).

Room Size: Size of the room is about 20 X 14 Feet with no carpetting (Hard mosaic floor) and I used the system to watch movies, listenning music and to play video games.

However, I never did get any mentionable performance from my sub woofer since I got the system and it has been sort of lying around.

Problem:

Couple of days ago I had an all nighter and fall asleep while keeping the system turned on and when I woke up in the morning, the AV Receiver has been acting up! The receiver powers on with the help of a remote every single time, but pressing the button on the receiver sometimes brings the power, sometimes it doesn't.

Sometimes the receiver would turn on but the display won't get any signals!.

When the Marantz does turn on, I get very low noise in all the speakers. I have disconnected the surround speakers, but now I can see that there is virtually no sound on my FRONT LEFT speaker even when I turn up the volume up to 85-90.

During this time, with the whole world being locked down I dont think I can get it checked any time soon, so any tips/ tricks to to fix the problem would be greatly useful.

Another question I have is regarding the output capability of the receiver and the required power to run the Rti A7 - Is the Marantz SR 6006 receiver good enough to power my 5.1 setup with the afforementioned speakers? Or, do I need to get a Power amp?

Last but not least, given that it may be too expensive to fix the Marantz SR6006, I may choose to get another AV receiver. Can anyone suggest a suitable model of AV receiver and a Power AMP for my speakers with either of the below configurations?

Configuration 1: New AV receiver - Bi amping the front Speaker outputs and use only one device to power my 5.1 setup (If its do-able)

Or,

Configuration 2: New AV Receiver - 2 X Surround , 1 X Centre, 1 X Sub. Power AMP - 2 X floor standing (Bi-amped if necessary/possible) please receommend a 2 Channel Power amp within a reasonable budget that I can hook up with the receiver and power the Front speakers with that leaving the AV receiver with the 2 X Rti A1 + TSK105C + PSW110?

Really need the advice people!!

Thanks and regards

Rommel

Leaving the AVR on all night is not the cause of the problem, pure coincidence. If you can't get it repaired buy another Marantz AVR as its sound signature mates well with the RTiA speakers. You should replace your current center with the RTiA6 or RTiA4 to obtain a timbre matched front stage.

Forget bi-amping as you CANNOT bi-amp with an AVR. It's marketing hype.

Get some area rugs to help damp your room.
