Need a CD/MP3 Car Receiver

I am looking for a quality used CD/MP3 receiver for under $150 shipped. I made the mistake of ordering the Lanzar 400 model, and even though it hasn't arrived yet I have heard enough bad things from everyone that I am already looking for a new receiver and will probably send the Lanzar back.
Any help would be appreciated because I have no clue what is good w/out actually demoing it in the store, and then you still don't know if it skips (it's going in a boat). I think this forum is pritty great and am learning alot...
