Keep you eye out for some Amperex 12at7 orange globes. These are highly regarded tubes and are still reasonably priced.

Will do. As of right now I'm looking for Telefunkin 5965 long plate. From those that have had the Dared they all swear the Telefunkin are end game tubes

Okay Brock was right as usual about the rectification tube. A month and a half ago I bought a pair NOS 1959 Brimar 5z4g tubes from a seller in Australia. Due to covid19 they just arrived today. My other Brimar was a 1970 version. I will tell you the 1959 tube has black plates, foil getter and weighs significantly more than the 1970 that has grayish plates and a ring getter.
Wow night and day difference. The 1959 tube has much better body and a ton better bass. It's just unreal how much difference there is.

You are slipping farther and farther down the hole.
