Hi guys , semms CC has started reductions on the current RTi line and others (with CC not carrying the RTi line in the future) .

I talked to my local CC manager and they have a demo PSW505 there that he will sell me for $209 . There is cosmetic damage on the top back corner (veneer is missing by about 3/4 -1 " square) . The rest seems fine .....

Should I pick this up ? Need replies ASAP

*note*
(I already do have a unopened PSW303 from Cruthfield , that has past the 30 day return period)

What ya think ?

TIA ;)

I would get it. If its junk, you've got 30 days to return to CC. No way a 505 can be beat for $209.

    OK , I just grabed the 505 for $209+tax ( TOTAL =$227.29)

I checked the sub over again and the veneer that is missing (TOP/LEFT/REAR CORNER) measures only 1/2" square . The driver and grill look fine , and there are also about 5 very minor "dings" on the rest of the cabinet ; but they are not deep at all and are quite hard to see unless you are really upclose and in very brite direct light starring at the cabinet. ( I'll try and post a pic later on and see what ya think )

I too will test it out tonight or by tomorrow with the new released dvd Lord of Rings- ROTK to make sure the driver is good .
Boy this is going to be overkill for my little HT/bedroom setup , but it seemed to hard of a deal to pass on .

Anyway , thanks gents for QUICK responses to my post ; much appreciated ;):D

If you're worried about money after buying the PSW303 I'd say buy the PSW505 and then put the 303 up on eBay. If it's sealed you should be able to get around $200 - $220 for it.
