New Turntable: Pro-ject Classic SB

So I finally decided on a new TT. Audio Advisor had an amazing deal on a cosmetically damaged unit for over 40% off MSRP with full new warranty. The damage is minimal. Two dings in the platter and some scratches in the cover. Just getting started with it but the lack of noise is immediate from the start over the Onkyo.     yeah it has the Sumiko. I was a little worried about what the sound level would be b/c of the HO MC on my MM built in preamp on the Peachtree, but it actually gets plenty loud for the room I'm in. I'll probably get a separate preamp in the coming weeks or months but for now I'm happy with the built in amp.

    That’s a nice pick up!

    There is something so therapeutic about spinning vinyl to start with, but with a table that looks like that, it’s a whole new level of satisfaction.
