Input Termination

I had the pleasure of repairing my PSW10 after the TDA7294 (amp on a chip) and some caps blew up. and in the process I noticed: The HI INPUT's are for balanced signals, that is, the audio is supplied as two complementary signals, one direct (L+, R+) and the other inverted (L-, R-) yet the two sides of each pair are differently terminated. R+ and L+ are connected to ground through 2.2 K but the others, R- and L- are connected to ground through 100 Ohms. This would put a very strange load on the source. Can someone enlighten me as to the reason why, is the an error on the schematic? I didn't see this till after the sub was put back together. I use the line inputs so no problem. and not worth taking apart to check. Thanks
