Speaking of Ford Raptor. That one is on my lust after list. Seen a guy driving one around here it had a 6.2 liter badge on the side. It was Bada$$, do not know how old it was since most come with a smaller motor now from what I understand. I'd love to have one, do I need one nope but they have a mean stance.

No doubt Ford makes good trucks. And the competition continues!

I have a 2015 1/2 GMC Sierra All Terrain, love it, but never really use it as a truck, other to haul things in the bed. It's really a secondary vehicle, does not get a lot of use, so the miles are very low (9K). She's a keeper! I keep teasing the Mrs that this baby will be my vehicle post retirement!

We've always had mid sized trucks at the house. Previously I had a couple of S-10's, then a GMC Canyon, and now the Sierra. Hopefully this will be my last!

Saw one outside a convenience store and pointed it out to my wife as we parked next to it, she gasped when I told her how much they cost new. My wife stayed in our car while I ran inside for some smokes, I was only gone a couple minutes.

When I came back to our car the truck was already gone. My wife told that two 16 or 17 year old girls jumped in and rumbled away. B)

2011-2014 was the 6.2L in the Raptor.

In 2016, the new gen Raptor was announced with the 3.5L twin turbo V6.

Lots of power but not quite the same.

You can get impressive hp numbers with small displacement v6 engines, but for torque, there’s just no substitute for larger bore v8s...

Actually, the 3.5L V6's bore is about the same size as the 5.0L V8. It's just 2 cylinders short.
