Very nice upgrade. You've got one of the best dlp pj's on the market. But at $7995 MSRP, this one's a long way off for mere mortals. :(

    Great choice in DLP.

Use DVi if possible. If not use the best CV cable you can afford. I recommend a Canare or Belden based cable, especially if you will be watching any HDTV (this has the highest frequencies - up to 35 MHz).

Please post some screen shots in high res on your website, if possible.

well we are getting voom on the 8th so i just might have to get a dvd player with dvi and a 4 port dvi switcher so i can hook up my comp too. i did have a small problem at first the pic was unstable i found out the hard way the compont ins dont like progresive scan. i will be running a comp cable for my x box, game cube and dvd till i get the wwitcher and all the cables i was going to eather buy one from frank at svs or buy the tools and buld one my self proabley just buy. i still need to get a celing mount.

I custom built my ceiling mount. My dad is a weilder fabracater. I design, he builds. Ya, DVI may be the way to go and with HDDVD on the way the new FP's should look amazing. I paid $300 for my 18' component cable. IT worked pretty well. Never got a chance to see HD on my FP. I have DirectTV HD now. Waiting for more HD channels to be added. They look awesome.

ok guys here is a update on the pj and install i got the pj mounted to a shelf i atached to the drywall covering the box beam with some brackes that can hold 200 lbs a piece and 4 good drywall anchors but i have to move the pj up 2 in and to the right 3 sence i centered on the pj and not the lense and i have to cut a bit off the brcket to move them up 2 in. and i need to buld a suround for the screen.

i have about 30 good hours on the pj in svidio and 3 with dvi. and used both dvi and s vid for hi def cable and dvd there is a noticible differance between s vid and dvi but i am waiting to make my cables for the x box and gc and i ordered a dvi switch and 30 foot dvi

sde is not visible after 10-12 feet and i have to get usto the screen size and the distance i sit at with my lasy eye i have to use both eyes to foucs and i am not usto that. but it will be good si i can maybe i can see 3d imiges on it.

also the pj is so brite that i am going to paint my walls a dark color a real dark color. i will get some pics when the digital is in the house. total spent will be around 5k after dvi cable/switcher and new componet cable. but not bad for a 115 screen
