    Is that Zang Zi Yi??

The other guy is the fellow from Crouching Tiger...don't know his name though. He's a good actor from what I have seen him in.

That is Zhang Ziyi in the pic above ! She's been taking fabulous roles in Asia (and avoiding the stereotypical ones in Hollywood) !

The second pic is Tony Leung. Excellant, excellant actor. From John Woo to Brad Pitt to Tarantino- nothing but accolades for the guy. :)

The guy from Crouching Tiger is Chow-Young-Fatt, not sure of the spelling. Tony Leung is a different guy.

I think I know who you're referring to but I can assure you that's not Tony Leung in CTHD.

Tony Leung is considered one of China's best actors as he's been in many movies from Hard Boiled to Tokyo Raiders to In the Mood for Love and most recently 2046 that played in Cannes.

Big Hong Kong movie buff Begbie? Have you seen any of the "Internal Affairs" series? I think Tony Leoung is the main guy.

    Infernal Affairs 1 & 2 are great.
    Awesome dts trackers.
3 is confusing and there's an audio to picture synch issue thru-out most of the movie. Yes I need to send the dvd to be replaced, it's a known issue.

    Infernal Affairs Rocked !!

Had to get the double disc edition. I picked up the third but it was a bit of a let down. I think they should've left it at the original.

Dlew, yeah I've got the audio sync problem too. It seems they rushed the release date to cash in (as they say).

I saw Infernal Affairs I & III recently, but I have not seen II. Need some explanations on Infernal Affairs III:
toward the end of the movie, when the cop (I believe his name is Ming) who is a mole from the mob was hypnotized by the Psychiatrist, indicated that his wife Mary was the head mobster Sam's girlfriend. 1) If Mary was Sam's girlfriend, why did Mary got so angry when Mary found out that her husband was a mole for Sam and divorced him?

    2) Who was the woman who stood in the back of Ming, dressed in black and pointed the gun at Ming, when Ming's Mary came to visit him at the hospital at the end of the movie.

    #III was very confusing.

    Just for clarification,

Infernal Affairs 1 - The Beginning
    Infernal Affairs 2 - Original (that started IA 1 & 3)
    Inferanl Affairs 3 - Infernal Affairs 3

I've seen the original and IA3.

They should've left it at the original or at least wait for a better script.

It seems studios rushed into production on IA 1 & 3, forgoing a good script and cashing in huge success of the original.

No desire to check out IA1 as Tony Leung and Andy Lau is what made the movie (original).

It'll be interesting to see how Martin Scorsese and Brad Pitt will do their version on IA......

IA1 is excellent. Two friends who had seen all three like the IA1 the most. Tony and Andy are both in IA1.

No, I mean Internal Affairs 1. It's about Yan (Tony) already in the gang w/Sam. Andy is working as a high rank officer, and at the same time give out info to Sam. Andy set up Sam, then Andy shot & killed Sam.

    IA2, as I understand it from my friends' description, is when Tony just got kick out of the Police Academy and joined the gang as a young undercover;

    Jiang Hu?

No I haven't seen it yet but I've seen it posted here and there.

Will look out for it at my local Chinatown. I usually buy a half dozen movies(bootlegged) for $25. If there's one that's real good, I'll get the legit version. That's why I passed on getting the legit version of IA3 and instead bought the 2 disc version of IA1(original). :D

It looks like Matt Damon and Leo D'Caprio are going to make an American version of the 'Internal Affairs' movie. Should be good!

Is "Plan B", the production company owned by Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, producing the US version of "Internal Affairs"?

I wish they would just bring the original version of the movies and run it here. It's proven that even a period piece like CTHD (in Mandarin, no less) can make mucho $$$.

Been watching him ever since he started in the early 80s and I have no idea what's so good about Tony Leung.
