Any suggestions on how to stick this to the ceiling

I want it to be like waking up in the woods every morning, I already got the bugs. It's pretty flimsy material and it may rip if I try to stretch it too much but I dont want it hanging down all over the place. Any suggestions? If I could sleep on the ceiling I would just put it on the floor and be done.

Spray on glue from 3M, that graphic artists use? Or frame it, and screw the frame to the ceiling...Alea jacta est!
-
wallpaper paste? Just brainstormin' here.
The 3M spray mount stuff might be a good choice -- brings back (not particularly) fond memories of making posters to take to scientific meetings.
Smells good, too, in that it'll give you cancer way -- plus, prolonged exposure may lead to an irresistible urge to listen to AC/DC records.

I thought of that spray glue but I can see myself **** it up or the glue melting the fabric.

This and a staple gun. -
This is the stuff I have and it doesn't say repositionable besides I am prone to spontaneous human combustion and this junk is extremely flamable. I don't want to die in a forest fire.
-
Actually, I meant to post a photo of the not-so-repositionable stuff! My mistake. FWIW, I don't think the repositionable stuff is the way to go -- it might decide to reposition itself in the middle of the night, which could be... jarring.
Flammable, schmammable. Put out that cigarette (or doobie) while you're puttin' it up -- you'll be fine.

Do you think that the Venn diagram of @afterburnt and "staple gun" would have a happy ending?

I'm thinking wheat paste. Used for ages to put posters up on any surface. Removable too.

I think you just need to be resourceful. This isn't a show-stopper -- it's an opportunity.

Perhaps adhere it to a piece of coroplast, about .15" thick and usually avail at HD. If you have access to the area above the ceiling, run a few lengths of 30lb test filament line through the hollow cavity of the coroplast and push the line through the drywall and secure above.

That's like mounting board no? That looks like the ticket, thanks! -

Pretty much the same as a "For Sale" sign with openings for the metal stands.
You could probably skew a nail through the edges into a joist. Obviously if you have access above, the filament should work just more time consuming.
Companies that make sound panels usually have ceiling mounting systems,.or anchors that are small and less conspicuous.
