I believe these to be a one of a kind pair of speakers.

The stock 703's were sent to Trey @VR3 many years ago to prototype, what we thought at the time, to making a good thing great. And that was certainly accomplished here.

The process of doing this mod had Trey up for many long hours and had him seeking psychiatric help when they were done. :#

The results however were stunning in comparison to the stock 703's.

I used to have these in my dedicated 2 channel rig, but during a F&F sale I purchased the full set of LSIM's that became my HT system when I moved to FL... I relegated these to L/R surrounds in my HT rig and they never got a chance live up to their potential.

I am now offering these up for sale to someone who can use and appreciate them for what they are.

They are in fine shape with 1 minor imperfection that occurred during the mod process; a small ding happened when a driver was being reinstalled (i'll provide photo) and was touched up. Very hard to see and I'll get it in bright light to show it if I can.

I am also including the custom pair of Skylan stands where the top plate was mad to fit the 703's tapered profile.

I'll add some photos so you can see the condition they are in once I move them out of their current locations.

I am asking $1250 + actual shipping Paypal friends or you pay the paypal fees including the stands to forum members who are in good standing with >100 posts.

I might still have the original boxes but as I recall the original boxes were not very good to start with but rest assured they will be packed to withstand the journey to their new home.

    Very cool. If I recall correctly, I saw a thread where you guys said these were a headache to mod because there wasn't much room inside... the space was so tight that Trey didn't want to mod any more of them... sounds one-of-a-kind to me. It is probably the thread you linked? GLWS!
