Wife and I popped in to an open house for a super cool house built in 1961. I really liked the design and architecture, but the coolest thing by far was this...

There was one speaker on either side of the fireplace, One in the basement and one in the upper level. Record player, tuner etc...in a closet off the kitchen. I was geeked out. I think the realtor thought Inwas going to buy the house right then and there LOL!

    That is really neat, especially the fact it has survived all these years. I love anything mid century modern my home interior is decorated in MCM. I wish my home were of the time and design.
