WEll..got my New IdQ sub in the mail yesterday. Should have it in and some new pics up shortly...( yeah..I know..y'all have heard it all before!)

    cool install... even if it is in a tahoe :D what's up with the jl sub in the little box on page 2? you have the id's in the last set...??

    it's kewl - one question... what's the black box in front of the amp? xover? line driver? i like the way it's covered, that's neato.

    center console - so you have the w0 there AND the two idq's in back?

    Yes... 3 subs total... the JL actually blends quite nicely with the system...
    The black box is the Kicker Impulse xover...since the RF amp has only Bass/trebble controls...+ it acts like a line driver since its running off the sub output of the Alpine

    The IDQ's are running off the Eclipse eq..not shown yet.

    well...since i got my new computer i can finally look at it...and it looks good!
    do you have any pics of the center console installed??
    do you have anything under the vinyl, or is it glued to the wood?
    im kinda throwing ideas around for a new box and one of em was vinyl...
    i think your tahoe is like this...where the speakers in the front door...the tweeter and the mid are covered by one big grill?
    well, when i get my new truck sometime next year im planning on redoing that part with vinyl with expanding foam under it to give it the 'poofy' look and feel
    ill probably have to put a few layers of fiberglass on the back of the door panel to withstand the extra weight better...but im not sure yet...i have a while to decide

    On the box...the vinyl is glued right to the box...and stapled on the bottom (who cares what the bottom looks like right? hehe)

    The console...I need to get pics of...I'm still not happy with the covering. I ran out of vinyl and only had some camel color carpet to do it....its done nicely..jsut the carpet is kinda hairy...lmao! I might shave it..no joke

    I also need to finsisht the other 2 amp rack areas so I can post those picks too.

    ever thought of just taking the center console out and replacing it with the factory one since you have 2 subs in the back?
    i probably wouldnt...just because of the work you put in it and the 'coolness' factor of it...just an idea
    maybe if you have a hair trimmer you can shave it...lol
    your head rests look like theyre leather...have you ever thought about covering it in the same color leather?(assuming it is leather and not vinyl)
    and on your website you put you dont need 17" tires because theyre ****...you might want to change that to wheels...it looks like you have about 30" tires on the 'hoe:)
    when i build my next box it has to be able to fit under the back seat...so you have it pretty easy aside from the console...all you had to do was build a cube with a couple of holes in it:D

    main reason for the custom center console: It houses the DVD player so we have easy access too it.
    Wife did not want me to modify the existing console..so we can put it back in if we need too

    BTW.....the Tires/rims on the Tahoe are 16" You wont find me with anything bigger

    tires are the rubber part
    although they might fit 16" wheels, they are still classified by the height, which my guess is probably 31ish:D
    you mean we wont see the 'hoe on 24" spinning dubs anytime soon?:D

    Actully I almost got some 20's on there....they were same color as the truck with an alloy high light... very sweet...but only came in 20/22...I said hell no. + I my wife would have killed me had I spent the xtra 500...

    I might put some 13" 120spokes on there with some stretched coopers!!!!

    they have spinners that 'clip on' to your existing rim...you could get some of those!
