Anyone here using a sub with Monitor 5s?

I'm seriously considering one of the REL "T" series subwoofers to shore up the bottom end of my otherwise fine Monitor 5s. My vintage receiver has no provision for LFE, or sub-out, or even "main-in/pre-out"
The RELs I'm considering have Speakon interconnects for a high-level connection to the receiver's speaker terminals.
Interested in any/all observations regarding the above-referenced combo (as well as any Monitor series Polks close to same)

You won't regret it one bit. Adding a subwoofer to my 7B's has been a game changer. I also am using the speaker level inputs because I don't have a preamp at this point in time. I wouldn't choose a sub that doesn't do at least down to 25 Hz +/-3dBGeorge / NJ
