Latest Cambridge Audio Update

So on Feb 28th, CA released their latest firmware update. Immediately following that my 851N would not recognize my laptop and needless to say I kinda freaked out as this is the main way I navigate what I listen to and the last update shut down my streamers bluetooth feature (which I sent a nasty email regarding this). Sent another nasty email to CA customer service and their response was "Did you do a factory reset like we asked you to do last time???" Uh no. So I wrote down my presets so I could easily reprogram them and went into settings. At the very bottom of the list is "factory reset".

Once the reset was done I had to redo the wifi link. Plugged in my laptop and immediately the 851N shows something I've never seen before "USB Audio 96.0kHz" Used to only show 48kHz unless I was playing a "master" file on Tidal. YES!!!

Any owners of these streamers who've had updates might want to try this if you're having any issues.

    Did the update couple days ago ....
    Didn’t notice any major changes ....but I only stream via a wired ethernet connection.
