LA area Polkies. Looks like a great opportunity to experience the new JC1+ paired with Wilson speakers and rub elbows with John Curl and Richard Schram. @nooshinjohn, you're in Beverly Hills? Don't know handles but I believe there are more than a few other Polkies in the area.

"SAN FRANCISCO | February 12, 2020 -- Parasound will kick off a dealer tour for the new John Curl-designed Halo JC 1+ monoblock power amplifier on February 29th at The Audio Salon of Santa Monica, CA. This will be the first of a number of dealer events nationwide to debut this remarkable new Parasound flagship amplifier. It replaces Parasound's original JC 1 after a 'mere' two decades as king of the hill.
Those who know The Audio Salon recognize it as a special place. It is nestled among the art galleries at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. Owner Maier Shadi says the location pays homage to the idea that music reproduction is an art form. Shadi is meticulous to the point of obsession—qualities that serve his clientele well.
The event will be held Saturday, February 29th from 2 to 6 pm at The Audio Salon, which is adjacent to the Bergamot Subway Station. It will feature Parasound President, Richard Schram, and John Curl, with the Parasound Halo JC 1+ monoblock power amplifiers driving Wilson speakers.
RSVP to The Audio Salon recommended: 310-863-0863.

I'd love to meet these guys in person. When I emailed Parasound about schematics for an old HCA-800ii, Mr Schram responded to my email. I emailed about a face plate for my tuner and Mr Schram said he had it waiting on his desk if I wanted it. When I was rebuilding my HCA-1000A, Mr Curl responded to my post on DIY Audio and gave good advise. Super cool folks.Stan

Parasound was my first foray into separates. I owned a couple of their older HCA-1000A and the HCA-1500A Amps, along with an original PHP 850 Preamp. Also had a DAC-200 Ultra.
Solid gear, I need to check out the upgraded Halo + Series. I think the Halo Series is some of the best looking gear out there, would love to have a Rack full. -
I've been using Parasound amps for 18 years---solid gear at a not-to-crazy price. I don't have any desire to replace my current A21.Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2

Parasound is my first foray into separates too and I am sold on them. I hope to upgrade to an HCA-1500A and, if I can ever afford new, a Halo would certainly be on my list because of the quality but mostly because of the really great treatment and support.Stan
