So I have a pair of 1950's RCA clear top side getter 12au's and a pair of the 1950's Mullard Mitchum long plate single post halo getters from Great Britain that I got from here when I first tried tube rolling. All tested really good in their own unique way on my system but I ended up with the Raytheon black plate organ tubes that sounded best (at least on my system). I think the RCA's were probably the most accurate spectrum wise where the Mullards were sweeter in the upper registers. Just don't know what they will do for your system or ears.

Also found a pair of Westinghouse 12ax's that came with my pre (wrong tubes) that tested good on my pre. Don't know anything about them but they have on them:
    12AX7A
    Westinghouse
    337
    England
    (a star) then 92-12
    Gustard X26 Pro DAC
Belles 21A Pre modded with Mundorf Supreme caps
B&K M200 Sonata monoblocks refreshed and upgraded
    Polk SDA 1C's modded / 1000Va Dreadnaught
Wireworld Silver Eclipse IC's and speaker cables
Harman Kardon T65C w/Grado Gold. (Don't laugh. It sounds great!)

Westinghouse sounds interesting. Wondering who made them actually?
This thread came up and I seen the Telefunkens here after watching then searching for those smooth plates. The tubes I had been watching went for a much higher sum than these.....much higher

Wasn't sure the the smooth plate Telefunkens sold?
My new pre takes both 12au/12ax EL84 and 5ar4

Yes, the Tele's are sold. I'll see what I might have.
