African mask for diffusers?

Keeping with my grotesques decorating theme I wondered if some really scary looking African mask would make good acoustic diffusers? They would go good with my shrunken heads and Bob's Big Boy posters.

    I have no idea, but I'd love to see some of the Bob's posters! I lived in Barstow CA until I was 10 years old. We went to Bob's Big Boy a lot.

    I have used those cut up into smaller pieces. The only problem is they do turn yellow. BUT THEY WORK !

    I thought diffusers are a hard surface that help to send sound into different directions.

    That form is an absorber. Not diffuser.

    If his masks are rounded they might help with diffusion better than foam panels.

    Maybe mix in a few Guy Fawkes and Marci Gras type Joker masks and it might work.
