    They are slowly taking over. They already took ownership of Spread Spectrum Technologies (SST), after James Bongiorno's death. They make the Ampzilla 2000 and Sone of Ampzilla's.

    I don't like the look of that tube amp as it hides the power tubes. The other thing I don't like is that Malitz will still be involved......shakes head......

    Needless to say, I am not privy to what goes on behind the curtain... but, a priori, that's not (necessarily) a bad thing, right? By which I mean that the other alternative may well have been utter extinction for SST... and maybe for this iteration of a Carver initiative, too.

    Just musing, of course -- because I like to hear myself... umm... type.
