Bravo to Benchmark Customer Service

So I FINALLY got around to hooking up my Christmas present to my Benchmark DAC1...a pair of XLR Shotgun S2 ICs. To my initial dismay...the left channel volume was only roughly half that of the right. Crap. Another 2 hour journey to the nearest electronics repair shop. Think, Kev, think....there must another way! YES....I have it! Call Benchmark and see if they service older products-which they do. I'll cut to the chase...they not even called me back after being disconnected via the always reliable ATT network...he told me to pop the top. Got it. He had me move all 4 jumpers to "10" based on my Cary Pre. I just remembered 10, as I was on my way to swim practice and figured it would make sense when I got home. To summarize....outstanding CS and support from Benchmark. There is a good chance my next DAC will be one of their products. Below are pics of what Im talking about if I lost you in my rambling post:
