    The evacuations in Miami were because of buildings shaking from the earthquake. There are no evacuations in Miami because of a tsunami threat.

    The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the quake could generate waves 1 to 3 feet above normal in Cuba, Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Honduras, Mexico and Belize. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, "there is no tsunami danger for the United States' East Coast, the Gulf of Mexico or the eastern coast of Canada."

    Crazy... There have been lotsa quakes there in the past.... I was in Cayman one time when a relatively large quake hit and there isn't much high ground.... the Cayman trench is off the southern coast of Cayman and it is very deep...(like 25,000) feet.

    Let's hope nothing happens.
