Magnifi Mini + Shield TV = magical green light

Hello all. I am wondering if anyone found some kind of way to get surrond sound and this magic green light on the Magnifi Mini with content from shield TV? I have connected Shield TV by HDMI to Tv (SAMSUNG ue48h6400) and HDMI ARC to Magnifi Mini. Any clue if it is really possible or only with BluRay discs.
