Nissan Titan

I'd like to replace the HU and bass first and use the stock front stage for a month or so.

I'm a little new at car audio so I'm having trouble making a knowledgable decision on amps and subwoofers.

The truck is an extended cab with a small rear seating area. I bought a box that fits under the rear seats.

2 10's
Mounting Depth = 6 inches
Air Space = .7 cu ft per sub

would like to keep to keep sub amp and woofer costs <= $600

    2 baby momo 10's (mm2104) for $120 at SoundDomain
    1 mtx 6500D for $300 from OnlineCarStereo
    wiring from KnuKonceptz

and they'll fit, just barely. and, holy crap, the volume is approximately perfect....

not bad for off the top of my head...

    they're $170 a pop at SoundDomain (the 2-ohm ones)
they handle 250 WRMS, so you need a 500x1@2... such as this rf amp for a mere $330. yeah, yeah, rf's goin down the tubes, but they can't be that bad, can they?

    same thing, www.knukonceptz.com for wiring.

btw, this is a bit beyond your price range. i stand by my rec.

Stand by first recommendation? Or are price/perf diff of IDQ's & RF worth it?

I'm not familiar with dual voice coils. Is it only for wiring issues or is there some other advantage?

    thx

except in this situation, you're wiring the vc's on each coil in series, which is only like a foot of wire. then the subs are in parallel.

oh, and i stand by my first post.

    Maybe a little more $

Kenwood Excelon KAC-X520 local outlet refurb $250

    2 IDQ D4 V.2 SoundDomain 2 X $170 $340
    http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/website/tech/data_sheet_idq10d4v2.html

wiring ? I'm not sure what's needed yet

    Bridge AMP
    VC series / drivers parallel = 4ohms ?

yes, series/parallel will give you a 4ohm load
the amp puts out 360x1@4ohms correct?
youll be getting 180 per speaker...and theyre rated at 250 each
the closer you get to 14 volts, the closer you will be to the rms rating of the subs
so if your car runs at 13.8 volts, you will be constantly getting around 225 watts to each sub...perfect:)
