I want to transfer all my home movies to a digital format.
Blu Ray? Does this hold more info?
Camera is a Sony DCR- Trv730.
DV in/out I'm guessing that is firewire and should be the best way to transfer.
None of my computers have a firewire port and I do not have a Blu Ray burner.
Looks like I need to find a DV to high speed USB cable and maybe an outboard burner.
If you've been down this road or have any suggestions please comment. I'm really not interested in doing any editing right now although I'm sure there are hours upon hours of me dropping the F-bomb in there.
Yeah I've googled it but you can read all day....I think I'm on the right path.
I probably have 30 plus tapes so boxing them up and sending them somewhere is out of the question due to the cost.....I could do it but would rather spend that cash on crap I don't need
