SOLD Thanks

I am in a house cleaning mode again, and these have not even got to my house yet. Troy picked these up for me on his way home from NJ, and was to visit family in GA and give them to me, well before that has happened; I am going to sell them. Troy is nice enough to pack them up in the original cartons from Polk, so safe shipping is expected.

These are the studio version, black finish, SDA 2B’s, with interconnect cord. Paid 250.00 for them, and am offering them for that great price plus shipping to your door.

    I'm interested but will have to get permission from my parents first. I'll let you know within a few days. How much will shipping to Canada cost? M9B2Z5

    What's their eff rating? Will a tube amp be able to push them?

    organ, not sure on the efficiency rating......probab high 80's low 90's.

    They don't seem to be a tough load to push. I've run them on a Marantz 2238b 38 wpc receiver.

    Not sure on the shipping to Canada off the top of my head, I can check though....

    Just a couple of tidbits. These are the black studio versions. The left speaker has a very slight water ring on the top of the cabinet. Other than that the cabs are great. The grill cloth is picked in spots. Still presentable though. As Russ said, original packing in GREAT shape. The IC cable is there (just in case someone was wondering) and I should have a copy of the manual shortly.

    Thanks for the info Troy. I don't mind the water mark and grilles. I'm still at school right now. What do you guys think. Should I ask my parents or not?

    You might want to do some investigating on the shipping, I'm going to be out of pocket for the next couple of days. Shipping costs may be prohibitive is my only thing.

    Looks like they're yours HBomb. Sorry guys. I just got enough sh#t already because I'm buying a Paradigm Servo-12 sub from a friend. I promised my mom I'd hide the PSW650 somewhere. Didn't even want to ask about the SDA. I'm sure she'd cut my balls off.

    What is the interconnect cable used for?

    I'm unfamiliar with Polk speakers that use this interconnect.

    LOL! Never heard a pair of SDA before. The more I read about them on the forum, the more I want them. One day I WILL own a pair:). I was offered a pair of the big SDA boys a few months ago but didn't have the cash. Can't remember the model # but it had 5 mids, 2 tweeters(I think) and a PR.

    I'll straighten it out tomorrow when I see him again. I'm sure I heard him mention 'servo' but he said it has a 12" woofer. Maybe it's PW2200.

    BTW, this may be a casual internet mistake with Hbombs account (or even an Hbomb folly) but be warned, another forum I heard of today had many known members banned, all kinds of **** going on that no-one could explain and a resulting mass exidus because of all the commotion. It looked as if either some hackers had taken over the good guys accounts OR just that the site was sold and many were unhappy. Of course you can never tell what is going on. Just thought I would mention it...

    Whoa....wait a second here....We KNOW there is an EVIL TWIN....Is is possible that there is also another alter ego? Could POLK THUG be a third (or possibly fourth) manifestation of HBombToo?
