Have trouble finding all the specs for these tweeters.
Would someone share?
Seems like sl2000, 3000 tweeters are 8ohm and rdo are 6ohm
But no info about sensitivity and power rating of these tweeters
I am looking to replace Polk tweeter with something else. Sb acoustics. Maybe seas tweeters.
Sl2000 and rdo194 are too harsh. Definitely a peak somewhere. I did see posts of measurements that say they are flat tweeters. But too bright for my tastes. Not sure I want to spend time and effort to do rdo198 upgrade.
I liked vienna acoustics tweeters which I believe are seas tweeters.

Then buy a Vienna Acoustics speaker and have fun. They are not going to work their best in a Polk speaker. The Gear... I’m telling you if you prefer another brand, go for it. Using another brand’s tweeters in a Polk speaker would require redesign of the crossover, but you seem to be an intelligent chap, so go ahead and do it. I am sure you will have no trouble. The Gear... Maybe read this. Knowing that upstream of the tweeters you admit the receivers or integrated are likely the problem you still want to blame the tweeters.
Get your read on.

Wow! Thanks for sharing that incredible article and thanks to the OP. My only disappointment is that my Peerless Tweeters weren't analyzed (HF2000?)
I wonder if it is a practical solution for those who are unhappy with their sound to get some vintage used Peerless tweets and modify crossovers as "may" be needed.
