"New" Polk owner here and I have some questions about the CS350-LS

I haven't gotten it in the mail yet but I am wondering what the new model equivalent build quality and sound wise would be. The only other Polk speakers I have are a pair in wall Polk 65-rt speakers I am using for height speakers in a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos/dts x setup.

The Polk 65rt in walls match up pretty well with the sonance 8" 2way in wall speakers I am using as my mains and surrounds and I am hoping the cs350ls center will voice match decently. Any one know what my chances are?

The Cs350-LS is set to replace an old infinity cc-3 that can't keep up with the sonance in wall speakers is my reason for trying to upgrade the center. Just so everyone knows the rest of the speaker setup, the sub is a paradigm servo 15.

  • So no one has to look it up, the Polk 65-rt in wall speakers I have are listed as having this tweeter:

    (1) 1" (2.54 cm) d (Round) Dynamic Balance Silk/Polymer Composite Dome Tweeter

    The CS350-LS has a 1" tri-laminate tweeter from what I can find.

Will they match up well enough?

Really you just have to try it and see what you think. What avr do you have? Some are better at blending than others...

Harmon Kardon HK3490; Bluesounds Node N130; Polk RT25i; ACI Titan Subwoofer
  • The avr is a middle of the line but fairly high wattage Onkyo tx-nr646 from a few years ago. A buddy of mine has an NAD that I am super jealous of... But those are pricey.
