I am rethinking the db6550's.. when the mid bass hits, they rub against the inside of the door skins, so the rattle is pretty bad :(

    I wouldnt think that would be the woofer rubbing against the door skin but rather the bass itself making the door skin rattle.

    Before you ditch the DBs you should run down to your local shop and pick up some Dynamat or Tsunami Silencer or any other brand you may like and apply it to not only your door panel but your door skin as well. This will not only cut way down on the vibrations but will help to make your speakers sound better as well by cutting down on the vibrations that can color and distort the output of your speakers.

    You should hide your license plate number. You wouldn't want some idiot tracking you down using your plate number and stealing that beauty ride.

    What's the point? I'm sure that there are plenty of beauty rides all around said idiot and there's plenty more idiots all around Chris that see his car every day anyway. If someone's going to put that much effort into tracking his car down and stealing it, there's not really much you can do to stop him anyway.
