    Thank you! ;)
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

    (for the most part . . . 99%) I agree with Dave . . .

I was recently the recipient of an over-inflated ticket. I think the MO by some, would be to the extreme, with the anticipation of a future negotiation.
    Perhaps “extreme“ should be toned-down

Sorry to hear Dog! Yeah the ticket thing IMO is a revenue generator. In my youth I heavily supported the local communities by paying fines. Not really the LEO's fault personally, just following direction mandated by local communities.

But now, a bit older, wiser, slower, you name it - No longer supporting in this manner!

Heck, I need to sell my radar detector!

Thing about Speeding, the speed traps are the one’s I look out for, you know the one’s that go from say 45 to 35 in about 100 feet. or you get pulled over for not putting your turn signal on 100 feet before you turn. I was sitting at a red light right line a car in front of me and a Patrol car in the left lane, car in front of me had No License plate on the back very dark tinted windows light turns green, never pulls that car over I know if I Noticed I’m sure the patrol car officer noticed. But I couldn’t be a Police officer, just think about the crap they gotta put up with day in and day out.

So today @CH46E I thought about you, as this situation was unfolding right before the Mrs and I! We had just left the bank, and all of a sudden dozens of LEO's and vehicles converged on the ATT store next to us!

It was amazing, we didn't stay of course, but we both said a quick prayer for those officers converging on the store. Fully armed with tactical gear, and dogs at the ready.

Looks like no one was hurt. Thank goodness. Another reason why I have so much admiration and respect for you guys. Keeping us safe! Thank you!

In my current IT job I spend a lot of my time with police and firemen.
Not a job I would want to do.
They put up with a lot, and their pay/ benefits were cut a few years back.
Officers keep leaving for jobs in other cities where they aren't constantly in
Extreme danger and for more money.
    Hard to blame them.
