Stock 2a’s sounding sweet
I bought a pair of modded 2a’s a while back to replace my stock ones. They are for my secondary system in a small room. I really do enjoy them and the x-overs (and tweeters) really cleaned things up, added air and transparency.
Today I sold my stock ones, but hooked them up again just to make sure they were all good to send on their way. Boy did they sound sweet. Maybe not as clean and clear, but sounded like honey.
I guess sometimes a change of pace is nice, and while not perfect, they sure hit the spot.
Good to be sending them on their way, though. Now someone else can enjoy them
