Hello
Thinking about buying the v1200 to drive my 800i mains, 400i center, rt35 rears , and psw250 sub,but I'm wondering if 80 watts is powerful enough for a semi large room(22X25).Anybody have the v1200 with there polks/ how does it sound? .My current reciever is an AIWA dv70(DD) with 120 watts per channel (front) 60 watts to the rears and Surrond sound is weak at best:( . Will The v1200 make a difference? Thanks for any input.

I think the 1200 is a abit more power than that.. I have my yammie 795a- wich the 800 replaced...its 85x5... It runs my 2000i's,55i's,cs400 and 800 surrounds in a very large living area with ease...dont think you will have any issues

I have virtually the same set up.... 800i 400i and 35i... no sub as of yet .... I am running them all with a Onkyo ds 595 I think its 75 watts/channel and all sounds very sweet.. very clean and very tight,,,, My room runs about the same size as yours, maybe 19 by 27 i think..
If you can bring it home and demo and return it ifyou feel you need more I would give it a shot!! -
Hi:
I would buy a 3X200W amp, B&K is fine, for the L C R and reroute the front L & R receiver amp to the rears. That would be much better for your setup.
