It's too bad (IMO and from my perspective) their sister publication, Stereophile didn't make it a covergirl.

Agree~!
Sound and Vision used to have measurements, Stereophile still does of course, so was really looking forward to their comments, review, and to see how it measures. -
I have a subscription to both i also miss the measurements that came with the review. Especially with the receivers.

I have to give Stereophile (and John Atkinson in particular) credit for still doing some meaningful quantitative assessment of the equipment that they test.
I have already lobbied for Stereophile to test one of the "Legacy" loudspeaker models at the Critics forum on AA -- where Stereophile is fairly active
(amazingly/impressively enough). Not that they responded to my plea... but they may at least have seen it.

I feel a good test and measurements and review from Stereophile give some credibility to a good speaker.
