Subwoofer help

So I just bought a pioneer vsx lx101 home reciever. Can I use my old car subwoofer? The reciever has a single pre out but my subwoofer has the tradition 2 wire push connector. Is there a cable that i could get? Or just cut a splitter so i have the 2 bare wires for the sub and the male single plug for the receiver? I bought a rca splitter at walmart but i went to plug it in and it's to big... pioneer tech said i need a lfe plug but it looks like the same thing when i look online. Thanks for helping!

No, your car subwoofer is unpowered. The RCA out from the receiver is meant for a subwoofer with its own amplifier.
