sda 1's...what are they going for?

My best friend that I am working for knows a guy that he works with that has a pair of these for sale. I just want to get a feel for what they are going for these days, I am going to go take a look at them this week and want to go well armed with info as to the value of them in case we try to come to terms.
I know there has been a pair recently on ebay but the guy with these seems to be way out of the ballpark, plus when he relisted them he upped the starting bid price from 750 to 900 smackers. Sure would be nice to get my sda on again.:D

Also, how do they compare against the 1c? Could the x over be modded to the 1c version? Sid, is 600 to 800 what you have seen recently on the bay? For some reason I just can't see it, now for the 1c version I could.

When I was looking to bag a pair I saw several 1B on audiogon for 350.00-450.00.

I wouldn't go over $450....and that would be seriously MINT.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have three pics of these but they are all over the allowed byte limit. How can I compress these so that I can post them here. From what I can see these are the very first sda 1's.
