I'm getting prepared to purchase new sides and rear surround speakers in my H/T room to match my recent purchase of the LSiM707 and LSiM706c. My question is, I'm torn between purchasing the LSiM702 F/X's for my sides and the LSiM703's for my rears of would you buy 4-265 LS in-walls to serve for sides and rears? The reason I ask is Adorama still has the LSi's on serious discounts and want to catch the sale before they run out of stock but if everyone feels the in-walls would be a better option I'll just pass and get the in-walls and hope I can find a good deal on ebay or Amazon. Thanks in advance!

Stand alone speakers always sound better than in wall speakers all other things being equal. If you have the $$$ and the space definitely get the big boys!Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

I have side 702's and I think their swell. I am gonna eventually add a pair for rears too.

Next question, would it be better to get 2 pair of LSiM702's or keep the configuration I have with the 702's and 703's? My back row of chairs are up against the wall if that helps.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!!

Well, I know that atmos actually recommends all direct firing speakers. If that is what you are running or if you plan to upgrade I would keep that in mind...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

Seems to me 702's make more sense for the back then. -

So, got both rear and surrounds mounted last night, still have to take down the bookshelves which I’m doing this weekend. My question is, does the placement seem about right for the F/X’s? Have to do drywall work this weekend to get them connected but before I do that just want to make sure placement is correct? Thanks in advance!Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!! -
