Amazon Echo Studio

I pre-ordered two Echo Studio speakers to run as a stereo pair. I think they will be really interesting with the integrated room calibration mics and three-way drivers. I don't expect them to beat a dedicated 2-channel rig, but Dolby 3D audio, lossless streaming, and full Alexa support are very intriguing.
According to the details, once you set-up both units, then you can sync them as a right and left, and they will even do faux-surround sound if you pair them to a Fire TV.

Well that time past long ago as we have Echos in every bedroom and the kitchen. -
I also just learned the Studio has an optical in for accepting a signal directly from a TV. Hmmm....
