Finally a company that knows how to pack properly.

You say your tired of damaged Jewel cases on your SACD, CD, & Blu Ray purchases? I have good news apparently Acoustic Sounds cares about thier customers, a box that is sturdy taped well and stuffed real good to avoid damages. The delivery goons would of really had to go out of thier way to damage this package. Kudos to Acoustic Sounds I will definitely order exclusively from them.

Plus thier pricing is decent this BOC-Secret Treaties Multichannel SACD was generously priced compared to the price gouging Amazon and E-Bay sellers were asking for this one.

Physical inventory in music is a thing of the past for me but so cool you found a good shipper. And love BOC. Great album brother.

You've never heard of Acoustic Sounds?!? I thought you had a rekkid playa and some rekkids.

In all seriousness, I am very surprised.

On the topic of (ahem) innovative packaging ("innovative" being one of my least favorite buzzwords, right up there with transformational and conversation)*.

A company making electric bikes was having problems with shipping damage -- they realized that flat screen TVs get shipped all around the world all of the time in large numbers, with no problem at all... so they redesigned their packaging.

(I know I've mentioned this before -- but I like it so I am mentioning it again :# )

    * I know -- let's have a transformational conversation about innovation -- if that sort of thing is in your wheelhouse, of course. B)

Acoustic Sounds has been my go to for a long time and since getting back into vinyl they've been my #1 go to. Their LP shipping cartons are darn near bomb proof.

If anyone feels a need for the exact polar opposite of this thread, might I,
humbly, suggest reading this one from Someplace Else.

    https://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/the-product-box-of-smsl-m100-dac-was-assembled-with-tape.888327

As one of the posts therein said of the thread linked to immediately above.
This may be the funniest thing I have read ... today.

Also, it might be one of the saddest.

Do you have a local brick and mortar record store? I know they're rare these days.

Yeah, there's a few around, but it's easier to point, click and ship. Plus, whenever there's an issue it's never a hassle and they pay the return shipping.

Decent used record store in Hanover, NH (college town, you know?) -- the local thrifts have reasonable selections of used records here... and we do have a small Newbury Comics; they still have a reasonable selection of modern & used records.
