You're not likely to be disappointed. :)
He's one of my favorite "acts" -- we see him whenever he's reasonably nearby, usually annually. He is a superb guitarist, and, as a performer, really good at what he does.

I second Dan with Neil Young. Much of Neil's stuff had suspect recording, the Unplugged was a good recording with a pretty good selection of songs. Maybe a couple I would have put. Many of the Unplugged were well recorded.

Totally agree this ones a gem. I also like Neil Youngs unplugged offering, and beleive it or not that Kiss MTV unplugged that had both versions of the band present was pretty good.

How more wrong can you be. yes I like good loud rock and roll no doubt about it but it's something special to take that real loud song or really thrash and song and be able to turn it down into an acoustic version and still be balls to the wall rock and roll. That in itself is hard to do. Sure you can take a rock and roll song and play it acoustically yes but take some of those songs do what those people did on MTV and make it great is not that easy. Not all those hardcore rock and rollers can scale it down to a very good (great) show.
