Going to be connected directly to amp - used as preamp ..
Output voltage twice as high when using balanced outputs vs unbalanced... why ?
So , more voltage to amp , means louder volume balanced vs unbalanced at same “ volume knob” setting ?
I know the amp will still clip at its max input voltage input regardless of cable type used ...
Is there any reason to use balanced if “hum” is not an issue ?

Seems low ... aren’t most amps around 2v ?

Advantage is, a bit better lower noise floor in the signal. Other than that, I can't think of any.HT SYSTEM-
