Why couldnt you use a bass block( the ones for car spk) to block the bass on one of the rti150 woofers, making it a mid ? thanks

Probably not a good idea if it could be done. The three 6.5 inch drivers are small, but relatively high excursion subwoofer drivers, not designed to be midrange drivers. Could be like trying to force a midrange driver to be a tweeter.

The reason I want to do this is to add some brightness to the spk thanks

Run RTi150 right now to add some brightness?

Sorry, but I think they are beautiful speakers well balanced. If you having trouble with them I do think you need more power, as in Bi-amping them or feeding them with something larger.
