GF6A and GF6B engine oil

Apparently this is a modified type of engine oil that will be available to U.S. consumers in May 2020. Type A is backward compatable and type B more for the newer GDI engines. Anybody know much about it?

Most modern engines run 5-20 due to tighter tolerances.
I run nothing but synthetic. Seems the standard isn't even fully specc'ed out
yet. Either way, conventional oil appears to be at it's end.
